Worship Schedule

Worship services at St. John's are vibrant and alive, stirring the hearts of all ages with the relevance of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Sermons that are centered in God's Word, children's sermons that illuminate His Word, and music prepared and presented by the best church music groups in the region are some of what worshipers experience each week.

Traditional Worship services are held at 8:30 and 11:00 on Sunday mornings in the sanctuary. These services feature traditional Lutheran liturgy as well as fine music in the classical tradition. Musical selections offered by the Early Morning Choir, the Chancel Choir, the Men's Ensemble, the Handbell Choir, the Brass Ensemble, Martin's Choristers, and vocal and instrumental soloists enhance the worship experience at these services. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first and third Sundays of every month.

If Contemporary Worship is your preference, join us for Alive! This service, which meets at 11:00 on Sunday mornings beginning May 16, 2010 in the Parish Life Center, features the best in contemporary Christian Music, and the power of God's message is delivered through the spoken word as well as visual media. Holy Communion is celebrated on the second and fourth Sundays of every month.

No matter what service you choose, smiling faces, warm hugs and handshakes, and powerful experiences with the Risen Lord await those who worship at St. John's Lutheran Church.
