Our staff plans worship services to be vibrant and alive in order to stir the hearts of all ages with the relevance of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Sermons which are centered in Gods Word, Childrens Sermons which illuminate His Word, and music prepared and presented by the best choir in the region are some of what worshipers experience each week. If Contemporary Worship is your preference, join us for 4 one 5 Alive!  This service features the best in contemporary Christian Music and the power of God's message is delivered in the spoken word, drama and video. No matter what service you choose, smiling faces, warm hugs and handshakes, and powerful experiences with the Risen Lord await those who worship at St. Johns Lutheran Church.

The purpose of this policy is to establish safe, secure, nurturing, and consistent care for the children of our congregation, and to assure the highest quality of ministry for these youngest members in the body of Christ.

Lutherans are a "priesthood of believers!" Each of us is a servant of Jesus Christ from the oldest to the youngest. One of the many ways our youth serve is as acolytes and crucifers during worship services. Acolytes bear the Light of Christ, as they ignite the altar candles, reminding worshipers of the presence of Christ who is the Light of the World. In a similar way, crucifers bear the processional cross reminding us that we gather around Him in worship and that we follow Him out into the world to serve. A schedule of our acolytes and crucifers may be viewed below:

The members of Altar Guild serve the church by giving their time and love to prepare the chancel before every service. Thanks to the dedication of these volunteers, the services run smoothly and all glory is offered to God

Children’s Church is offered on non-communion Sunday’s for children ages 4 – 6 and 7 - 10. We strive to allow our children lessons that are age-appropriate while still including them in worship with our full community of believers.
